Amy Winehouse's Parents Tell Fans Their Love "Means So Much"

Amy's parents visit the building number of tributes outside her Camden flat.

Amy Winehouse's parents Mitch and Janis visited the area outside Amy's home in North London to see the tributes left by fans.

"This means so much to my family," Amy's dad told visitors to the site.

Reg Traviss, Amy's film director boyfriend, joined Amy's parents on the emotional trip.

Mitch shook hands with reporters and fans outside her flat and thanked them for their kind words and gifts.

"I can't tell you what this means to us – it really is making this a lot easier for us," Mitch told supporters.

"Amy was about one thing and that was love, her whole life was devoted to her family and her friends and to you guys as well.

"We're devastated and I'm speechless but thanks for coming."
