Amy Winehouse Funeral Today

Friends and family of the 'Back To Black' star prepare to attend her funeral.

A spokesman has confirmed Amy Winehouse's funeral will happen later today.

“The funeral will take place on Tuesday and will be a family and close friends affair,” he said.

There's no official word on where it will be held but reports say Golders Green Crematorium in north London could be the chosen location, at the alleged time of 3pm.

Amy will be cremated and The Sun say her parents plan to mix her ashes with those of her grandmother Cynthia, who died of lung cancer 5 years ago.

"The family discussed mixing Amy's ashes with Cynthia's and scattering them together," a source told the paper.

"They were incredibly close, it feels like the right thing to do."
