The 'You Bring Me Joy' star says she wants more time to record new material for her debut release.
Amelia Lily has updated fans on the progress of her debut album and says she will be heading back into the recording studio to work on new music for the record.
The 'Party Over' singer's first album 'Be A Fighter' had been due to be released this month but was removed from stores like iTunes and Amazon, and Amelia has now issued a statement explaining the decision to postpone the launch.
"Guys I wanted to let you know what's happening… over the last few months I've been writing loads of new material and I've now decided that I need to go back into the studio and spend some time working on my debut album," Amelia tweeted earlier today (15th July) to update fans. "I want it to be perfect for you all!
"I will update you all on my progress, stay tuned. I'm excited!!!!!" the young singer added.

Amelia Lily has already released three singles since coming runner-up on The X Factor 2011, including 'You Bring Me Joy', 'Shut Up (And Give Me Whatever You Got)' and 'Party Over'.
