Film magazine claims the 'Someone Like You' star has been confirmed to feature in forthcoming new movie.
Adele has been confirmed to sing the theme tune for the next James Bond film, Skyfall, according to reports.
The song will take the title of the film, according to the movie magazine Total Film.
The 'Someone Like You' singer has been linked to the film franchise increasingly in recent weeks after being spotted at an MGM recording studio a couple of weeks ago.
The news of the star's apparent involved has prompted bookmakers William Hill to pay out to customers who had backed the star to sing the latest theme tune.
"The way our punters were backing her, it seems as though Adele was going to be the only option to sing the Skyfall theme," a spokesman said. "We are now unfortunately shaken, not stirred by this particular Bond battering."
Skyfall will see Daniel Craig resume the role of James Bond for a third time, with Dame Judi Dench also set to star. The movie goes on general release on 26th October.
Meanwhile, Adele was forced to recently respond to rumours that she had married in secret - telling her followers on Twitter that the reports were false.
