The 'Someone Like You' star doesn't think she's a proper singer.
Despite being one of the biggest stars this year in terms of chart success, humble Adele doesn't rate herself.
"I don't even consider myself a singer," Adele revealed.
"My interpretation of a singer is Etta James, Aretha Franklin and Billie Holiday."
Adele is currently up for seven MTV VMAs as well as the prestigious Mercury Prize, has sold over three million copies of '21' in the UK alone and has broken a ridiculous number of chart records.
But regardless of her huge accomplishments, Adele still doesn't see herself as that much of a big deal.
"I don't rate my voice in that sense," she said.
"The singers who inspire me are all-time greats and legends."
