1. Our prayers for a hot, sexy AND talented new boy band were answered at the start of 2014
Back in February 2014, 5 Seconds Of Summer released their music video for 'She Looks So Perfect' and we fell instantly in LOVE with all four of the boys.

2. Grabbing their first No. 1 on the Vodafone Big Top 40. The first of MANY to come we're sure!
They landed their first No.1 with their second single 'Don't Stop'. Let's hope they never stop…doooing what they're doooooing!

3. Conquering the Capital Summertime Ball 2014 with Vodafone at Wembley Stadium!
Playing the BIGGEST venue in the country was all in a day's work for the 'Amnesia' lads. They had the audience in the palm of their hands. Picture: Derek Bremner

4. Tennage Mutant Ninja Rockers!
They showed us how they're always up for a bit of fun. Of course Luke is the blue turtle 'Leonardo'. The lead singer is always the leader right?

5. Derp Con actually happened. And every 5SOS fan went crazy for it
'Derp Con: A 5SOS Convention'. The boys invited fans from all over the world to join them in L.A to hang out and watch them live at legendary venue 'The Forum'.

6. Michael's ever changing locks were, of course, a #5SOSFam highlight
Whether it's pink, purple or platinum, Mr. Clifford has taken time out to show us each time he decides to give his hair a makeover (pink is definitely our fave…so far).

7. They infiltrated a female prison.
The 'Good Girls' music video caused mass hysteria with fangirls. Nobody could truly handle the boys in their shirts & ties in the video's intro.

8. They've met a few big industry names themselves... and one of their all-time heroes too!
Ashton was particularly excited to meet Nirvana drummer and Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl.

9. They rocked the HELL out of the Capital Jingle Bell Ball 2014 with Morrisons...
For the first time in the HISTORY of the band, the boys were forced to perform as a three-piece after Michael lost his passport. Needless to say they still blew the roof off the O2 with an incredible set. Picture: Richard Johnson

10. They won some BIG awards…obviously.

11. They made a few furry friends along the way (thanks to US of course!)
When they popped into the studio for a chat, we had some cuddly kittens for them to play with… unfortunately Ashton had to miss out when we learnt he is MEGA allergic to cats. #SadFace

12. We got to see more than we EVER thought we would of the 5SOS boys...
Luckily this is just one of MANY. We all quickly realised that Calum, Ashton, Luke & Michael REALLY don't mind getting their kit off.
