The 'Don't Stop' stars have vowed to have a lengthy career in music so fans can watch their music evolve, fresh from launching their debut album this week!
It's been a hectic few weeks for the Aussie boys after playing the Capital Summertime Ball 2014 in late June, returning with new single 'Don't Stop' AND launching their first record… but they're already looking ahead to the next half-century! We like your enthusiasm guys!
"We'd love to still be here in another 50 years," 5SOS' Ashton Irwin told the Daily Star this week. "I started listening to Green Day when I was 11 and I still listen to them now!
"They deliver the soundtrack to your lives,' he explained, while Calum went on to open up about how important it is to FINALLY be able to give their fans the album they've been craving.
"It's the best feeling to be able to give them our music," he added. "We've been writing our album for two years and from day one the fans have been begging us to hear it."
"We found a really supportive group of people and put out an album that we're really proud of, " Ashton added, promising fans the record is "nothing but us".
