They've issued the following appeal:

Were you at the bar, in Silver Street, Doncaster, between 11pm and 11.30pm on Thursday 13 August?

If you've not spoken to police yet, please call 101 quoting incident 22 of 14 August. Alternatively, call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.

Lewis Siddall was reportedly assaulted inside the bar shortly after 11pm.

He left the bar, returned home and went to bed following the incident. He was later found dead in bed at around 5.20am Friday morning.

A post-mortem examination's found the 24 year old died as a result of a head injury.
