Man Guilty Of Murder After Sheffield Stabbing

A man has been found guilty of murder following a stabbing in Sheffield.

29-year-old Damian Taff was found with knife wounds on Swanbourne Road in Parson Cross last September. He died in hospital a short while after from his injuries.

31-year-old Benjamin Grant was found guilty of murder at Sheffield Crown Court. Four other people were convicted of offences relating to Damians' death. They will all be sentenced on Thursday 19 May.

Detective Superintendent Lisa Ray said: "This has been a complicated investigation involving numerous members of the community.

"The assistance of the local community was overwhelming, in particular the vulnerable witnesses who gave evidence in court. Their support of the police investigation has contributed to a successful outcome."
