A 21 year-old man who raped and badly beat an 18-year-old woman in Leeds has had a charge of attempted murder against him dropped.

Zdenko Turtak, had previously admitted rape and grievous bodily harm.

He was extradicted from Slovakia earlier this year and will now be sentenced for the Beeston bus stop attack on 19 October

Turtak attacked his victim at a bus stop in Beeston Road in March before dragging her behind a hedge and raping her.
