Police in Settle are growing increasingly concerned for the safety of a man who is missing from home.

22-year-old Ricky John Jethro Wilson, who is also known as Jethro Burnside, was last seen leaving his flat in Duke Street, Settle, at around 2pm on Sunday 18 September 2011.

He has not been seen since and was reported missing by a concerned colleague yesterday after he failed to turn up for work.

When Jethro was last seen he was wearing grey tracksuit bottoms. He also wears a number of brightly-coloured festival wristbands.

He is described as being 5ft 4in tall, with a slim build, green eyes and short, mousey wavy, hair. He has a fair complexion is usually clean shaven.

Officers are concerned for Jethro's welfare and are appealing for the public to help locate him.

PC Gill Bell, of Settle Safer Neighbourhood Team, said: "It is a few days now since Jethro was last seen and we are becoming concerned for his safety.

He has had a few personal problems recently but we believe his disappearance is out of character. It is unusual that he didn't turn up for work, so much so that his colleagues contacted the police.

He doesn't have access to a vehicle so he must be travelling around on foot.

I am appealing to anyone who sees Jethro or has information about where he might be to contact the police as soon as possible."

Anyone who can help the police with their enquiries is urged to contact Settle police on 0845 60 60 24 7, quoting reference number 12110159337.
