Two men have been jailed after admitting they shot and killed a dad on his doorstep in South Yorkshire.

Tyron Woodhead was shot on 20 September 2012 on the doorstep of his home on Doncaster Road in Wath-upon-Dearne.

He later died from his injuries at the Northern General Hospital on 24 October, 2012.

STEPHEN RODGERS

30 year old Stephen Rodgers, originally from Thurnscoe, has been sentenced to 21 years for manslaughter.

23 year old Nathan Wingfield, originally from Rotherham has been sentenced to 20 years for manslaughter and five years imprisonment for robbery.

Both men pleaded guilty to manslaughter on Monday, 11 March at Sheffield Crown Court and Wingfield also pleaded guilty to robbery.
