Olympic Torch Relay

The Olympic Torch will make its way through Yorkshire on Monday 18th, Tues 19th and Wed 20th June.

The Olympic Torch Relay sees an average of 115 Torchbearers per day carry the Olympic Flame before it arrives at the Olympic Stadium on July 27th for the lighting of the cauldron for the Opening Ceremony.

The iconic torch will begin its journey in Lythe at 09:14am on Monday 18th June before making its way to the likes of Whitby and Scarborough before arriving in Hull at 4.56pm.

On Tuesday 19th the Torch will make its way to York via the likes of Brough
, Boston Spa and Ripon before Wednesday's journey will see it arrive in Richmond.
