McDonalds Countdown to Christmas on Capital FM, December 2016
RULES
1. The following rules (“Specific Rules”) together with the general competition terms and conditions (which can be found at (http://www.capitalfm.com/terms-conditions/competition/) (the “ Competition Terms and Conditions”) of Global (as defined in the Competition Terms and Conditions apply to ‘McDonald’s Countdown to Christmas’ radio competition (the “Competition") which will run from 00:01 1st December to 23:59 24th December on Capital FM (the “Radio Station”).
2. Anyone who enters the Competition (an “Entrant”) will be deemed to have read and accepted the Specific Rules and the Competition Terms and Conditions and will be bound by them.
Details of the Competition:
3. To enter the Competition an Entrant must upload an image of their Christmas good times at www.capitalfm.com. By submitting an image to the site http://www.capitalfm.com/ you: (i) warrant that you control all copyright and all other rights (including, without limitation, performers’ rights) in and to such image; and (ii) confirm the grant by you to the Radio Station [and Global Radio] of a worldwide, perpetual, royalty free licence in the copyright and all other rights in and to the image (including, without limitation, performers’ rights) and you waive any moral rights and like rights you have in relation to the image; so that the Radio Station [and Global Radio] shall be entitled to use the image in any and all media at no cost to the Radio Station [and Global Radio] and such use shall not infringe the rights of any third party.
4. Any entry considered inappropriate due to foul language, nudity or scenes considered inappropriate for Capital’s audience, or containing illegal images, will be disqualified at Capital’s discretion.
5. Photos must not include any products that are considered a competitor to McDonald’s; any entry that features a competitor will not be eligible for entry.
6. Online entry will open at 00.01 and close at 23.59 each day (between 1st - 24th December).
7. Entrants must have permission from each participant in the photo, and the permission of a parent or guardian for any children under 16. The entrant who submits their details will be eligible to win the prize.
8. Visitors to a number of Capital Street Stars events will also be able to enter the competition by having their photo taken in a Capital and McDonald’s co-branded photo booth. Each visitor’s photo submission to the competition will be recorded, their entry information collected, and the entry submitted to the competition.
9. This Capital Street Stars activity will take part in designated shopping centres across the UK on designated days, taking place between 1st - 24th December, as announced on air and/or at capitalfm.com
10. For prizes 1-5, and 7-24, 1 winner will be selected from all eligible entries received between 00.01 and 23.59 on each day, to win the prize stated below. The winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries and contacted by a Global Radio representative via phone or email.
11. For prize 6, 10 winners will be selected at random from the areas specified
12. If the winner receives a phone call from a Global Radio representative then they may be required to talk to the presenter(s) and the conversation would be recorded and played on-air. If the caller fails to answer or return a call from Global, is driving at the time of the call and is unable to pull over or cannot continue the call for any reason the call may be terminated and another Entrant selected at random.
13. Winners will not be eligible to win more than one of the prizes drawn during 1st – 24th December. If a winner is selected who has already won a prize with Global Radio during that time, another entrant will be selected at random.

15. On Tuesday 6th December only, entrants must live within one of the ten areas specified below (under ‘Prize’)
16. Entry is restricted to one entry per person per day; duplicate entries will be excluded from the Competition.
17. Entrants can submit the same photo more than once provided it is submitted on a different day of the competition.

- Hotel is classed as a 4 Star and is based on two people sharing a twin or double room (winner’s choice) with ensuite bathroom on a room only basis.
At least one guest must be over the age of 21.
- Tickets are subject to availability at the time of booking and exclude sold
out events.
- For all US trips, UK Passport holders must hold a valid ESTA (electronic
tourist visa) from the US Embassy, which can be applied for a minimum of 72 hours prior to travel. Anyone not holding an ESTA will be deported from the US upon arrival without exception. It is the winner’s responsibility to comply with the ESTA visa requirements of the United States of America. Approval is at the discretion of the US Embassy and NDL Group cannot be held responsible for this being rejected.
