The Capital Weekender With Ministry of Sound 10pm - 6am
How to participate:
You may participate by tweeting your song request by using the relevant hashtag displayed on screen during the show. You may also submit a selfie with your vote, as prompted during the show. Submissions that do not follow the instructions given on screen, made through other sites and media, or made outside of the voting window will not be considered.
To vote for a song you must tweet the displayed hashtag of the song from the choices displayed on screen. Global Television's software aggregates votes submitted via twitter throughout the voting window. The song with the total amount of votes, from that window, will play next. The voting window is specified by the length of the song, with count down graphics indicating when the voting window closes.
‘Selfies’ will be selected for inclusion in the show at the producers’ discretion. 'Selfie' images are displayed on screen at a size of 250 pixels wide x 200 pixels tall. Images will be adapted in order to fit this size. The image may not be included for selection if deemed to be too distorted once adapted.
You must be a UK resident to participate. Under 18s may only participate with permission from their parent or guardian.
By submitting an image to Capital TV you: (i) warrant that you control all copyright and all other rights (including, without limitation, performers’ rights) in and to such image and (ii) confirm the grant by you to Capital TV [and Global Radio] of a worldwide, perpetual, royalty free licence in the copyright and all other rights in and to the image (including, without limitation, performers’ rights) and you waive any moral rights and like rights you have in relation to the image; so that Capital TV [and Global Radio] shall be entitled to use the image in any and all media at no cost to the Radio Station [and Global Radio] and such use shall not infringe the rights of any third party.
You must have obtained all consents, releases and permissions (including of each person identifiable) in respect of the image.
You agree that we may disclose your identity to any third party who is claiming that the image you have submitted violates their intellectual property rights or any other right.
Images may be edited or rejected at the producers’ discretion to comply with Capital TV’s editorial and technical guidelines, the law and the Ofcom Broadcasting Code. Images must not contain anything illegal, offensive or harmful.
We accept no responsibility for submissions delayed or not received by us as a result of network incompatibility, technical faults or for any other reason.
