Terms and conditions for Vodafone 4G across Capital Network.
Vodafone 4G Network on Capital FM, Heart FM & the Big Top 40 show, March 2015
RULES
1. The following rules (“Rules”) together with Global Radio’s ("Global Radio") general and competition terms and conditions (the “Terms and Conditions”) (which can be found at http://www.capitalfm.com/terms-conditions/, http://www.heart.co.uk/terms-conditions/competition/ , http://www.bigtop40.com/terms-conditions/ apply to ‘Vodafone 4G Network radio competition ("the Competition") which will run from Sunday 1st March 2015 to Friday 27th March 2015 (“the Duration”). The "Radio Station" is Capital Network, Heart Network & Big Top 40 show.
2. Anyone who enters the Competition (an “Entrant”) will be deemed to have understood these Rules along with the Terms and Conditions and will be bound by them. The Terms and Conditions are available on request from the Radio Station.
Details of the Competition:
3. To enter the Competition an Entrant must go online to heart.co.uk, capitalfm.com, or bigtop40.com, register their details & share their ‘big moment’ in 100 characters or less (including spaces).
4. A ‘big moment’ is something you want to shout about, to people you care about, for example, birth of your first child, getting married or engaged, getting the keys to your first home, getting the job etc. They are key milestones in your life, turning points.
5. Online entry opens at 16.00.01pm on Sunday 1st March 2015 and will close at 23.59pm on Friday 27th March 2015
6. From all combined entries received online, Global will select one winner each week at the following times on behalf of Capital FM, Heart FM & the Big Top 40 show;
6.1. Thursday 5th March 2015 at 10.00am
6.2. Thursday 12th March 2015 at 10.00am
6.3. Thursday 19th March 2015 at 10.00am
6.4. Saturday 28th March 2015 at 10.00am
7. Each winning entry will be selected by a team of judges from Global Radio based on the following criteria & their decision is final;
7.1. Most memorable
7.2. Most plausible.
7.3. Most entertaining
8. Shortlisted entrants will be notified via phone call on these dates:
8.1. Thursday 5th March 2015
8.2. Thursday 12th March 2015
8.3. Thursday 19th March 2015
8.4. Saturday 28th March 2015
9. Entrants must be available for a phone call on the Sunday of that week (A week is defined as Monday to Sunday) between 16:00 and 19:00. If an Entrant fails to answer the call on either date, the prize will be forfeited & a new winner will be selected from entries received.
10. Each weekly winner selected from all online entries will be rewarded their prize live on-air during the Big Top 40 show between 1600 – 1900pm on Sunday 8th,15th, 22nd & 29th March 2015.
11. Winners may be required to have a video call with the Big Top 40 presenters as part of this competition, which will be recorded & hosted on Heart, Capital & Big Top 40 digital & social channels. This does not affect your chances of winning or claiming your prize.
12. Entrants ‘moments’ received online could be used by Capital FM, Heart FM, Big Top 40 show or Vodafone for promotional, social or advertising use in the future.
13. Once an Entrant has submitted their ‘big moment’ online, they will be eligible to enter an additional prize draw by clicking on the ‘Share Your Entry on Twitter to win £5,000’ button from the ‘Thank You’ page. Upon clicking this button, a pre-populated Tweet Field will be generated consisting of their ‘big moment’ as submitted online, the twitter handle @BigTop40 and #4G40 - allowing users to tweet about their entry in to the competition. Twitter entries will open at 16.00.01pm on Sunday 1st March 2015 and will close at 23.59pm on Friday 27th March 2015
14. In order to be eligible to enter this additional prize draw, entrants must be a follower of @BigTop40, or @ThisIsHeart or @CapitalOfficial.
15. From all moments shared on Twitter using @BigTop40 & #4G40, one winner will be selected at random & awarded the additional prize as outlined below.
Eligibility:
16. Entrants must be aged 18 or over.
17. For the additional prize draw, Entrants must be an @BigTop40 follower on Twitter & use @BigTop40 plus #4G40 as part of their entry.
18. Entries are restricted to one entry per person for the online entry competition, and one entry per person for the additional draw on Twitter – duplicate entries will be excluded from the Competition.
Prize:
19. Each Winner announced on-air on the following Sundays - March 8th, 15th, 22nd, 29th 2015 will receive a bespoke prize up to the value of £6,000.00. The terms relating to these prizes are as follows;
· Prize will be created bespoke by The NDL Group who will work with Global Radio to create a prize package to compliment the winning “moment” selected by Global Radio up to the value of £6,000.00.
· Winners will receive exact prize details in writing off air the following day. Prizes may include various elements including but not limited to travel, accommodation, event/attraction tickets, activities, services, shopping, dining or pampering experiences, white goods, vouchers, cash etc and will be announced to the winner on-air.
· Any travel is subject to availability at the discretion of the organiser. All experiences must be booked with NDL Travel (ABTA K3065) and must be claimed as one prize experience. Prize cannot be transferred or re-sold.
· All prizes must be claimed and booked by the prize winner within 12 months from the date of our initial correspondence with them.
20. The additional prize draw prize for sharing your moment on Twitter is £5,000 cash which will be payable by cheque or bank transfer within 28 days.
21. The Prizes cannot be exchanged for cash or an alternative Prize.
22. Global Radio reserves the right to substitute the Prize at any time.
