RULES
The following rules (“Specific Rules”) together with the general competition terms and conditions (which can be found at http://www.capitalfm.com/terms-conditions/) (the “Competition Terms and Conditions”) of Global (as defined in the Competition Terms and Conditions) apply to ‘Minions’ radio competition (the “Competition") which will run from 18th May 2015 to 31st May 2015 on Capital Network.
Anyone who enters the Competition (an “Entrant”) will be deemed to have read and accepted the Specific Rules and Competition Terms and Conditions and will be bound by them.
Details of the Competition:
To enter the Competition an Entrant must go to capitalfm.com, register their details and answer the question. Online entry will open at 00:01 on 18th May and close at 23:59 on 31st May.
1x winner will be selected at random from all the correct, eligible entries received.
The winner will be notified by telephone.
Eligibility:
Entrants must be aged 16 and over. If the winner is under 18, they must be accompanied by an adult when taking the Prize.
7. Entry is restricted to one entry per person; duplicate entries will be excluded from the Competition.
Prize:
8. 1x winner will win the following prize package:
- One pair of Level 1 seated tickets to Capital’s Summertime Ball 2015 (a)
- Return train travel from their nearest mainline train station to London (b)
- Overnight bed and breakfast hotel accommodation in Wembley on Saturday 6th June (c)
- Red Carpet experience with the Minions at Capital's Summertime Ball 2015 (d)
Prize Terms & Conditions:
(a) Level 1 seated tickets are seated tickets. Children under 15 must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over who is responsible for them at all times.
(b) Return train tickets for the winner and their guest. Trains will be booked for a specific time on Saturday 6th June and returning at a specific time on Sunday 7th June. Transfers are NOT provided. Winner will need to make their own way to/from their mainline stations and to/from the station in London to the hotel in Wembley. If the winners timetabled outward travel time is over 4 hours to get to London then the winner will be given the option to travel to London on Friday 5th June instead (but will still be returning on Sunday 7th June). Both the winner and their guest must be travelling to/from the same location and be on the same train journey.
(c) A twin room will be booked for the winner. If the winner would like a double room they will need to let Capital know at the point of winning. A double room cannot be guaranteed. If the winners timetabled travel time is over 4 hours on the outward journey the winner will be offered 2 nights hotel accommodation (on Friday 5th and Saturday 6th June). At least one member of the party must be aged over 18 to stay in hotel accommodation.
(d) The Red Carpet experience involves a backstage tour at Capital's Summertime Ball. It is the winner’s responsibility to be at the agreed meeting point at the pre-agreed time to obtain this part of the prize. The winner must be contactable on the day via mobile phone.
- It is the winner’s responsibility to get to the venue in time for the event. Global Radio is not responsible if the winner is refused entry to the venue due to being late or in breach of the venue’s admission terms and conditions.
- By being present at the Event you consent to being filmed and/or recorded. You also agree not to assert any moral (or similar) rights and give all necessary consents under the Copyright Designs and Patents Act 1988 (as amended) and all other applicable legislation in respect of any film and/or recordings. Please note that BAL is entitled to make full use of any film and/or recording in all current and future media worldwide without any liability or payment to you, including permitting others to do the same.
- All persons who wish to gain access to the Event must have a valid Ticket.
- Neither the Ticket Holder nor any other person is entitled to assign, donate, transfer or otherwise dispose of any rights arising from the Ticket, or the Ticket itself, to any third party, including, without limitation, if the transferee does or intends to: (a) sell, resell, expose, offer or make available for sale, auction, donate or otherwise dispose of Ticket(s) in any manner or place whatsoever, including, without limitation, online via an online auction website; and/or (b) transfer or use such rights or a Ticket as part of or for any unauthorised: (c) advertising, sales or promotional purposes; (d) premium give-away, competition, prize draw or sweepstake; or (e) hospitality or travel package.
- Global Radio reserves the right to change the line up of the event and substitute any part of the prize at any time.
- The prize does not include food or refreshments.
- The winner and guest agree that he or she is subject to these Conditions and to the Venue Conditions.
- Global Radio reserves the right to change or amend these rules at any time.
- The Prize is not transferable, and cannot be exchanged for cash or an alternative Prize.
