RULES (WIN ONLINE)
1.The following rules (“Rules”) together with Global Radio’s ("Global Radio") general and competition terms and conditions (the “Terms and Conditions”) (which can be found at http://www.capitalfm.com/rules apply to BRITs best British Single which will run from Thursday 12th January 2012 to Friday 17th February 2012 (“the Duration”). The "Radio Stations" are: The Capital Network (Capital Scotland, Capital North East, Capital Yorkshire, Capital Manchester, Capital East Midlands, CapitalSouth Wales, Capital Birmingham, Capital South Coast and Capital London)
2. Anyone who enters the Competition (an “Entrant”) will be deemed to have understood these Rules along with the Terms and Conditions and will be bound by them. The Terms and Conditions are available on request from the Radio Stations.
3. The Competition is organised by BRIT Awards Limited whose registered address is Riverside Building, County Hall, Westminster Bridge Road, London SE1 7JA (“BAL”).
Details of the Competition:
4. To enter the competition an entrant must visit http://www.brits.co.uk/voting (which can be accessed via http://www.capitalfm.com ) register their details including which Capital FM station they listen to from a dropdown selection.
5. Entrants will be asked to select one of the ten singles shortlisted for the award – British Single 2012
6. Capital FM listeners may cast one, free, online vote for their favourite single within the entire voting period
7. Voting opens at 7.30pm on Thursday 12th January 2012 and closes at 12noon on Friday 17th February 2012
8. Winners will be chosen at random from all entries received.
9. All winners may be required to record a call with a Capital FM presenter.
Eligibility:
10. Entry is only open to residents of the United Kingdom aged sixteen years or over.
Prize:
11. A minimum of one winner per Capital FM radio station (as defined by the list on http://www.brits.co.uk/voting) will receive a pair of tickets, each being one pair of balcony (show only) tickets to the BRIT Awards at the O2 Arena, London on Tuesday 21st February 2011.
12. It is the winner’s responsibility to get to the venue in time for the event. Event terms and conditions can be found here - http://www.brits.co.uk/terms-conditions
13. The Tickets are personal to the winner of each Prize (each a “Prize Winner”) and the Prize Winner may not transfer, sell, donate, give or otherwise dispose of the Tickets to any other persons. For the avoidance of doubt, each Prize Winner may give (but may not sell or otherwise dispose of for any commercial or other monetary value) one of the Tickets to the person whom the Prize Winner shall accompany to the Event (the “Prize Winner’s Guest”).
14. Each Prize Winner and Prize Winner’s Guest must be at least sixteen years of age. In the event that the Prize Winner is less than eighteen years of age, the Prize Winner must be accompanied by a person who shall be the Prize Winner’s Guest, who must be at least eighteen years of age. 15. BAL reserves the right to request written proof of age and identification of any Prize Winner and any Prize Winner’s Guest.
Global Radio reserves the right to change or amend these rules at any time.
