Welsh chef Stephen Terry will be cooking tonight for NATO’s world leaders in Cardiff Castle.
Among the dinner guests will be Prime Minister David Cameron and US President Barack Obama.
The award-winning chef, who runs The Hardwick in Abergavenny has selected many local produce to feature on the menu tonight.
A team of 12 hospitality students from Cardiff Metropolitan University will help Stephen to prepare and serve the dinner.
One of students Carys Hughes from Pembrokeshire tells CAPITAL...
‘It’s going to be a great opportunity.
It really hasn’t hit home yet, it’s fantastic experience for us.
We’ve got to just do our job, we know how to do our job and all we can do is hope the world leaders enjoy Wales.’
Joel O’Neil from Llandudno is also involved. He says...
‘I’m excited and nervous.
It’s a great opportunity; it’s definitely something for the CV.’
Lisa Wright their Lecturer says...
‘I keep saying to them it’s a dinner party story forever and ever.
You don’t get these opportunities maybe more than once in a life time.
It’s going to be a big task but we can cope.’
Meanwhile representatives from international media will be entertained with food and drinks at Tredegar House in Newport.
