Two Charged After Drug Raids
Two people have been charged with drug offences following a number of police raids in the Totton area on Friday 1 March.
Officers carried out 11 warrants at nine homes and two businesses, arresting seven people and seized four thousand pounds worth of heroin and crack cocaine during searches in Southampotn and Warminster.
The warrants were carried out as part of Operation Fortress, a campaign to reduce the harm of drug related violence in and around Southampton.
Ayshea Evans, 36-years-old, from Shakespeare Drive in Totton, has been charged with possession with intent to supply Class A and Class B drugs and possession of a Class B drug. She has been remanded in custody to appear at Southampton Magistrates Court on Monday 4 March.
Marc Antony Driscoll, 23-years-old, from Jackie Wigg Gardens in Totton, has been charged with possession of a Class B drug. He has been bailed to appear at Southampton Magistrates Court on Monday 25 March.
A 21-year-old woman from Totton received a caution for possession of a Class B drug.
A 43-year-old man and a 31-year-old woman both from Totton were arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs. They have been bailed pending further enquiries until Wednesday, May 22.
A 30-year-old man from Totton was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs. He has been bailed pending further enquiries until Friday, April 26.
A 23-year-old man from Totton was arrested on suspicion of possession of Class B drugs. He has been bailed pending further enquiries until Friday, April 26.

Between start of campaign in May 2012 and January 2013, officers from the Operation Fortress team made 217 arrests and charged 73 people. Officers have seized approximately £132,000 worth of drugs and approximately £98,000 in cash
