Portsmouth: Police Release E-Fit Of Assault Suspect

Police have published an E-Fit picture of a man after an indecent assault in Portsmouth.


A 23-year-old woman was walking along Station Street in the city centre towards a Kwik-Fit store at around 5.45pm on Saturday, June 21, 2014.
 
A man approached her from behind and grabbed the hem of her skirt with both hands.
 
The woman hit her attacker over the head causing him to run away towards Arundel Street.
 
The suspect was described as:
 
White man aged in his 50s, 5ft 5-6 ins tall, slim build, short straight mostly grey hair flecked with dark brown and slightly receding, light coloured staring eyes and a pale thin face.
 
The suspect was wearing a burgundy/maroon round necked short sleeved T-shirt under a beige fishing-type vest/waistcoat with lots of pockets.
