Man Seriously Injured In Southampton Flats Fall

Police have launched an investigation into the circumstances which led to a 34-year-old man falling from a fourth floor balcony at flats in Southampton.

Shortly after 1.30am today (Tuesday 20 May) police and ambulance crews were called to flats in Keynsham Road, Bitterne, and found a 34-year-old local man with serious, life threatening injuries.
 
He was taken to Southampton General Hospital where he remains in a serious condition.
 
The circumstances of the fall are unclear at this time and officers are speaking to local residents today to help establish what happened.
 
A 28-year-old woman has been arrested in connection with this incident and remains in custody.
