Man Robbed At Knifepoint In Totton

A man has been robbed at knifepoint as he walked home from a night out in Totton.

The 23-year-old was heading along Ringwood Road between Southern Gardens and Broadmeadow Close at around 10pm on Friday 1 March when it happened.

He had just been dropped off by a taxi when a dark coloured Astra hatchback pulled up and three passengers got out of the vehicle. One threatened him with a knife and demanded what he had on him.

They searched him and stole his wallet containing some cash.

They are described as all being around 20-years-old, of skinny build and around 5ft 7 inches tall. One was clean shaven and wearing a grey hoodie, another wore a grey hoodie and beanie hat and the third wore a dark v neck jumper and light tracksuit bottoms.

There was also a fourth man who drove the Astra.

After the robbery the men got back in the car and made off down Calmore Road.

Officers are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information about the crime. They are asked to call Detective Constable Giulio Pizzo at Lyndhurst Police Station on 101 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
