Man Kicked In The Face In Totton Attack

A man's been kicked in the face in an attack in Totton.

Officers are appealing for information after the 34-year-old man was assaulted on Saturday (20 September).
 
At around 11.50pm, the victim and his friend were walking from the Farmhouse pub in Totton. As they walked passed the play park in Rufus Gardens they were approached by two men who asked them about drugs. They did not engage in conversation and continued walking. 

The victim was then approached from behind and beaten to the ground, where the offender continued to kick him the face.
 
The first man police want to speak to is described as:

- White
- Slim / medium build
- 5ft 10ins
- Short blond hair
- Spoke with a local accent
- Wearing dark blue Addidas clothing

The second man is described as being aged in his 20s and wearing dark coloured clothing.

The victim was taken to Southampton General Hospital where he was treated for a suspected broken nose.

PC David Barnes, said:

“I am appealing for witnesses to this unprovoked attack, to come forward and speak to us.  The victim saw three men aged in their late teens to early 20s just before the offenders fled the scene. 

"These men may have witnessed what happened and could have vital information.  I would urge them to come forward and tell us what they saw, to help is find those responsible.”
