Man Attacked with Pen Knife On IOW

Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was attacked with a pen knife in Lake near Sandown.

Sometime between 1.30am – 2.00am on Wednesday 6th November, the victim, a man in his 20s, was walking home along Sandown Road when he was approached by another man as he came to the junction of Heath Road. 

He demanded to use the victim's phone and when he refused the man attacked him with a small pen knife causing cuts to hands and face. 

The suspect is described as:

 - white

 - short hair that was a little spiky and dark in colour. 

 - around 5ft 10ins tall

 - slim build 

 - wearing a plain round neck jumper.
