Havant: 10K Reward Put Up Over Violent Burglary

The family of a man who was subjected to a terrifying ordeal after two masked men broke into his home on February 2 leaving him with a broken arm, are offering a £10,000 reward for information leading to their conviction.

Detective Inspector Kerry Loveless, of Waterlooville CID, who is heading the investigation said:

“There is a substantial amount of money on offer for anyone who gives information about the incident leading to a conviction of the men responsible.

The family of a man who was subjected to a terrifying ordeal after two masked men broke into his home on February 2 leaving him with a broken arm, are offering a £10,000 reward for information leading to their conviction.
“This is a particularly cowardly and violent attack which has left a man with serious injuries and the family want to see these offenders brought to justice.”

The victim, a 45-year-old man and his girlfriend were subjected to the terrifying raid when two men wearing balaclavas burst into the victim's home in Pembury Road, Warblington near Havant sometime between 8.00pm and 8.45pm.

Along with three expensive watches; a Raymond Weil, a Cartier and a Longines they also stole £3,000 in cash and a dark blue Range Rover.

This was found dumped in the entrance to Pook Lane, just south of the A27 a short time later.

The first intruder was described as

  • A white man
  • About 6ft tall,
  • Slim build
  • He was wearing a black long sleeved jumper and black trousers/jeans.


The second intruder was described as:

  • A white man
  • About 5ft 7ins tall
  • Stocky build
  • He was wearing a black long sleeved jumper and grey tracksuit trousers.
