Daylight Break-In In Waterlooville

Thieves have stolen a load of computer gadgets from a house in Waterlooville.

Police are seeking witnesses following the burglary in Milton Road on Thursday, May 5.

Between 7.30am and 6.45pm someone has smashed a window to the lounge and gained access to the property.

They have carried out an untidy search of the house and have taken a Playstation 3, an Acer 7000 series laptop, an amount of cash, private documentation, an X Box 360, a Nintendo DS, an iPhone, and a credit card.

PC Nick Wisdom said:

"This is a burglary that has taken place during the day time on a busy road.. A number of bulky items have been taken including up to approximately £700 worth of coins.

"The offenders have smashed a window in order to gain access to the property, which would have made a noticeable noise.

"Police are appealing for anyone who may have heard anything - or seen anyone carrying bags and the stolen items leaving the scene, or in the nearby area - to get in touch.."

Anyone with information should contact the Waterlooville Priority Crime Team on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
