Body Found In Hampshire Woods
A body has been found in woods near Andover.
The discovery of a man’s body was made this afternoon, January 10 at Harewood forest. A gamekeeper alerted police at around 2.45pm.
Police have contacted the family of 40-year-old Jason Goddard who had been reported missing.
The 40-year-old was last seen at the Royal Hampshire County Hospital in Winchester, at 3.40am on Monday, January 9.
He had been taken to hospital on Sunday night after being found heavily in drink in the Andover area and was later discharged.
Formal identification of the body has not yet taken place.
Police are not treating the death as suspicious and are now preparing for a file for the coroner.
