20-Year-Old Motorcyclist Dies On M27 Near Fareham

Hampshire police are investigating the death of a motorcyclist at junction 11 of the M27 at Fareham.

A 20-year-old from Gosport died after crashing his white Kawasaki motorbike on the slip road joining the motorway.

It happened at around 7.40pm on Sunday, August 31. He was pronounced dead at the scene. His next of kin have been informed.
 
The slip road was closed for several hours after the crash.
 
Anyone who witnessed the collision, or witnessed the bike being ridden prior to the incident, is asked to contact Sergeant Nigel Burt or PC Jim Chapman from the Roads Policing Unit, quoting Operation Minden.
