The Glasgow 2018 European Championships will take place for the very first time between 2 - 12 August 2018.

Around 3,000 of Europe’s best athletes are set to compete across 11 days of exhilarating sporting action. Don’t miss your chance to see history unfold as athletes from over 50 nations battle it out across Aquatics, Cycling, Golf, Gymnastics, Rowing and Triathlon for the status of European Champion.

An action-packed programme of cultural activities will run alongside the Glasgow 2018 European Championships, capitalising on Glasgow and Scotland’s international reputation for creative excellence and allowing everyone to play their part in the celebrations. Glasgow’s iconic George Square will form the beating heart of these activities, with other live sites planned across the country.
