Naming Rights Deal "Close" For Ibrox

Rangers chief executive Charles Green has revealed an agreement is being finalised to sell the naming rights to Ibrox.

He hopes to secure a deal with retailer Sports Direct and it's majority shareholder Mike Ashley, who also owns Newcastle United.

Meanwhile, Green has spoken again about his desire for the club to play in the English Premier League.

He said:  "I've spoken to a number of Chief Executives in different levels and from different leagues. A consensus majority would love to see Rangers playing in the Premier League.

"We'd be happy to start in the Conference League. We win every league we're in each year and it's only a four year run."
