Scottish Football Stars Detained Over Drug Posession

Scotland striker Garry O'Connor's been arrested on suspicion of possessing cocaine.

The 28-year-old striker, who started his career at Hibs, was allegedly caught with the Class A drug in Edinburgh during the early hours of Saturday morning.

Theres reports O'Connor, from Port Seton in East Lothian was caught with a white powder in a lane when police lifted him but he was later released without charge pending further examination.

24 hours later on Sunday officers allegedly caught two Hearts players with an illegal substance.

26 year old Ian Black and 19 year old Robert Ogleby were detained on suspicion of possessing a Class A drug and later released.

A spokeswoman for Lothian and Borders Police said: ``We had two people detained, both were cautioned and charged.''
