CCTV Appeal After Glasgow Assault

Police Scotland has released CCTV images of three men following a serious assault in Glasgow City Centre on Sunday 6 September 2015.

Three men left a nightclub in Elmbank Gardens at around 3am and were crossing Bath Street when they were approached and assaulted by three other men.

The three men then left the scene and headed in the direction of the Glasgow Hilton Hotel next to the M8 motorway.

The three men who were assaulted made their way home, with one attending at hospital the following day to be treated for injuries to his leg.

Officers are appealing for assistance to trace the three men in the CCTV images who may have information vital to the investigation.

The first man is described as having brown hair and wearing an off-white t shirt, jeans and trainers.

The second man is described as having dark hair and wearing a white shirt and jeans.

The third man is described as having dark hair and wearing a white shirt and black jacket.

Detective Constable Stephen Palmer from Stewart Street CID said: "This appears to have been an unprovoked attack on a group of men heading home from a night out.

"I would appeal to anyone who recognises the men in the images to contact officers as they may be able to assist with our enquiries.
