There are a LOT of hot new releases this month kicking off a year where we can expect amazing things from the world of music.

2015 is finally here. There are some BIG things coming your way in the first month of what we predict will be one of the BEST years for new music.

Can you believe that just over a week ago you were tucking into your Christmas dinner, pulling crackers with your family and getting that brand new 1D album you have been waiting for? Well don't you worry, the celebrations aren't over just yet. We have so much to look forward to in 2015.

January is serving up some of the year's best tunes, so sit back and have a little listen...

Get your dancing shoes on with Meghan.

Miss Trainor sent the world into a frenzy with her debut hit 'All About That Bass' and luckily for all of us the girl from Nantucket is back to serve up another slice of pure pop heaven. 'Lips Are Movin' is Meghan's second single from her eagerly awaited debut album 'Title'.

Fergie is back and we are LOVIN' it.

Black Eyed Peas' leading lady is back with this absolutely banging tuuuune. She has teamed up with rapper YG who you might remember from Jeremih's 'Don't Tell 'Em'. Try playing this, turning the volume to max and not feeling the urge to drop it like it's hot.

It's our very own Marvin with a new LuvBug track.

Marvin and his two pals The White N3rd and JKAY have their second track 'Revive (Say Something)' due out later this month. Don't be surprised if you hear this whilst hitting the clubs in January. Joel Compass lends his incredible vocal talents to the tune too!

Oh Selena, we love you.

Little Miss Gomez released the video for 'The Heart Wants What It Wants' back in November last year however you'll have to wait until her next album 'For You' drops at the end of January to get your hands on some Selena magic.

Remember to tune in at 4pm on Sunday to listen to the freshest chart around with Marvin Humes and the Vodafone Big Top 40.
