What was the last CD you bought/track you downloaded? Baha Men Who Let the Dogs Out? (it was for my kids - honest!)

Most listened to track on my iPod: My Hypnotherepy Sleep Tape. Musically it's Neil Diamonds New Album.

Most embarrassing track on my iPod: Probably Abba's Greatest Hits.

First album you bought: A Top 40 Compilation called Parade of the Pops (showing my age here!)

Favourite gig you’ve ever been to: I loved all the big gigs at the old Wembley Stadium, Madonna, Inxs, Guns & Rose, Michael Jackson. Also loved Prince at Earls Court.

Life at Capital Radio...

What's the best thing about having your own show on Capital? The driver on standby, the staff of 15, free latte's, free holidays oh the list goes on and on... Now, back in the real world - working with a great bunch of people!

Who would your ideal guest be? It would be wonderful to talk to John Lennon.

Favourite show on Capital: It is unfair to have favorites amongst so much talent!

What three tracks would you pick for your desert island disco? Bodyrockers - I like the way you move, Ultra Nate - Free, Kylie - Can't Get You Out Of My Head.

What’s your favourite 'wake-up and get the breakfast on' track? Boo Radleys - Wake Up.

What’s your favourite Sunday morning track? Verve - Bitter Sweet Symphony or Keane - Somewhere Only We Know.

What’s your favourite 'getting ready to go out' track? Bit old school but Gary Byrd and The Crown.

What’s your karaoke track of choice? Don't Look Back in Anger by Oasis.

Life in London...

What’s your favourite London place: The view from Waterloo Bridge at sunrise and also at night. Either looking towards the City or The Houses of Parliament.

Favourite drinking hole in London: Overlooking the Thames from one of the pubs at Stand on the Green.

Favourite Restaurant in London: So many to choose from but Locanda Locatelli is a real favorite.

Favourite place to get away from it all in town:
St James's Park.

Favourite thing to do in London: Eat and drink.

Favourite place to go shopping: Bluewater and Kings Road.

Favourite show you’ve seen in London: Cirque Du Soleil

Tell us a little known fact about this glorious city of ours: Winston Churchill's statue in Parliament Square has an electrical current running through it so the pigeons don't land on it.

Time to get personal...

What makes you laugh? My kids.

What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given?
Be sincere, once you can fake that you've got it made!

How would your best friend describe you in three words? Sincere, kind, liar.

What’s your favourite movie? Too many to choose just one but the Godfather is still up there.

Who do you call when you get good news? My wife and my mum and dad.

Which bit of your body do you like the least? How long have you got? I have noticed my ears are getting bigger!

I’m most proud of… My kids and fullfilling my childhood dream.

We’re buying, what will you have? A central London flat and a house overlooking the English Channel.

Worst job I ever had: Writing about pensions.

From my wardrobe you can have… Probably everything (my wife answered that one).

If you’re getting a takeaway I’ll have… Thai or Indian.

Facebook is… slightly overated

I’d make a rubbish Apprentice for Sir Alan because… Because I think I'd be too bossy.

The first thing I do when I get out of the Capital studio is…
Head home for lunch.
