  2. the judges should only be there to give their opinions..... and not to say who should be voted off the show. yourself and the other contestants are giving 100% in to learning new dances every week, which are apprecaited by the viewers. john sargent should not have quit the show. the bbc should have another phone vote called 'which judge should go' just one fine thing lisa... go for it girl.

  3. I am saddened that John felt he had to quit. He represented the vast majority of the public who can't dance and he showed that you can have poise and grace on the dance floor without being a dancer. Ratings were up; will they continue so? If they don't want our opinion, don't ask us!
    Three cheers for the underdog.

  4. I think its outrageous John felt pressurised to quit but I dont blame him. No he isn't the best dancer but he has obviously charmed a wide spectrum of the British public, something few celebrities are able to do these days. The judges are now saying there is no way he would have won; they have said the opposite more than once. Backpeddling at its best - shame on them. Got oo big for their boots.

  5. I'm afraid I found Lisa's comments this morning to Arlene Phillips ("What would you say to anyone thinking of voting for John this week?") were outrageous and a complete stab in the back from a fellow contestant. John may well have been a lost cause as a dancer but he was invited to participate, abided by the rules...... and was hounded out. Shame on those who did the hounding.

  6. I so agree that John had to go. Nice man though he is, he was not able to dance! What a shame that the public felt that it was a good idea to humiliate him. There were good dancers on the show who have been voted out. I'm very impressed with Lisa, Tom and Christine, Austin is good but dependant on Erin's choreography, love Rachel and Vincent too, COME ON Capital listeners, Lisa to win she is great

  7. I personally think that the publics vote should only give a maximum of 10 points in total to the favourite, and the judges full scores should be added to that, which should make the overall score fairer to the better dancers

  8. Lisa was amazing on Saturday! I split my votes between her and Christine and was shocked when John got through and two good couples were in the dance off.
John should just step down gracefully- unlike his dancing- and allow the good celebs get further in the competition!
Christine, Lisa & Jodie are awesome! <3

  9. It is a shame the public voting makes such a difference but if it is for the public's choice what can one do. The only thing I really wouldn't like to see is John still there in the final three weeks although I enjoy him. I personally don't enjoy Bruce or Tess or the mannerisms of either of them. It would be interesting to see how those fared if it were left to a public vote.

  10. Much as I have enoyed John Sergeant's antics over the last few weeks, he must now go and if the public don't vote him off, then he must resign with honour. By doing so, he would allow others, with more talent to continue. If I were in his position I would "fall on my sword" to do the right thing for the show and all the other competitors. I'm surprised he hasn't yet thought of this himself.
