Lisa's Strictly blog - thanks for your support!

I’m becoming a pro at multi-tasking now. There’s so much to do and think about at the moment, but I’m definitely having fun!

I can’t believe this is it, just today, and then it’ll be time, I’ll be dancing in front of the nation! When I’m at Capital, I know I’m safe, and then as soon as I leave, it becomes a reality that is getting nearer and nearer.

My Dad Nigel, my sisters Joanne and Lesley-Ann and two best friends Zoe and Caroline will all be in the studio audience to cheer me on. They’re all massive fans so they’re really excited! I’ve had so much amazing support from so many people, my house now looks like a florist, I’m a lucky girl.

David Walliams was one of the first to send me flowers, he’s always very thoughtful, my management company – Money Management and the production company for Britain’s Next Top Model – Thumbs up have both sent me lovely bouquets, and then I’ve had lots of beautiful flowers from friends and family. AND, if that wasn’t lucky enough, I’ve got you lot. The texts that were sent in to the Breakfast Show and all of the good luck messages mean so much to me, I feel slightly calmer knowing that you’re behind me!

I’m going to try not to let the nerves get the better of me so that I can enjoy it all. If I mess up, I’ll just have to laugh! I did actually have a dream last night that I messed up and then Johnny Vaughan was in the audience shouting ‘Style it out!’. He’s hopefully going to be in the audience on Saturday, although he’s feeling a bit under the weather. But, if he is there, lets hope I won’t have to shout out!

My heart is going to be pounding when they say ‘Brendan and Lisa will you please take to the floor’…but lets hope I pull it off!

  1. My 8 year old Daughter loves you and Brendan and voted a few times for you as the judges scores did not reflect how well you did.

    Keep up the good work!
