Music...
What was the last CD you bought/track you downloaded? Kid Rock – All Summer Long.
Most listened to track on my iPod : Razorlight - America.
Most embarrassing track on my iPod? Vengaboys – Up & Down (It was on a dodgy dance compilation…….honest!)
Who would your ideal guest be? (Can be living or dead) : Bono, legend!
First album I bought : Michael Jackson - Bad
Favourite gig you’ve ever been to? Live 8, Hyde Park, July 2005. U2, Madonna, Coldplay, Robbie, McCartney Floyd…..nuff said.
Favourite live music venue : The O2 Arena has to be one of the best. Been to see some great gigs there and always get a good view, there’s always a good atmosphere and the sound’s great. Good restaurants and bars too.
Life at Capital Radio...
Favourite show/DJ on Capital (not including you!): Johnny & Lisa on Capital Breakfast. They’re responsible for me getting some very strange looks while driving home along the embankment when I’m laughing to myself in the car.
What three tracks would you pick for your desert island disco?
Jamiroquai – Return Of The Space Cowboy
Roger Sanchez –Another Chance
Sam Sparro - Black & Gold
What’s your favourite 'wake-up and get the breakfast on' track? Prince - 1999.
What’s your favourite Sunday morning track? Moby – Porcelain.
What’s your favourite 'getting ready to go out' track? Right now it would have to be Eric Prydz - Pjanoo.
What’s your karaoke track of choice? I normally sing Angels by Robbie Williams……very badly!
Life in London...
What’s your favourite London place? The West End has to be up there because you’ve got everything on your doorstep.
Favourite drinking hole in London? The Tattershall Castle on Victoria Embankment is great for a drink on a hot summer evening. Good beer, good food and pretty impressive views.
Favourite restaurant in London: I love Thai food so it probably has to be Thai Square on Cockspur Street. They do a great chicken penang curry.
Favourite place to get away from it all in town : A coffee and a chill out at Inn The Park in St James’s Park is my favourite place to escape to.
Favourite thing to do in London : Eating out has to be top of the list and trying new restaurants rather than sticking to the old favourites.
Favourite place to go shopping : Regents Street, but only in short bursts. I lose interest very quickly. Thank god for Starbucks!
Favourite show you’ve seen in London: Chicago.
Tell us a little known fact about this glorious city of ours : About 16% of the UK’s restaurants are in London and there are more Michelin rated restaurants in London than in any other city except Paris.
Time to get personal...
What makes you laugh? Lee Evans and Little Britain.
How would your best friend describe you in three words? Easy going, trustworthy.
What’s your favourite movie and why? The Shawshank Redemption is a movie I can watch over and over. I think Morgan Freemon is an amazing actor and I love his role in this film.
Who do you call when you get good news? Helen my fiancée who also deals with the bad news calls quite well too.
Which bit of your body do you like the least? My eyes. I hate wearing glasses, can't wear contacts and I'm too chicken to get laser eye surgery.
Why didn’t you ask me about... The time Victoria Beckham called my show and shouted at me live on air.
What were you like at school? A bit of a daydreamer.
I’m most proud of… Helen my fiancée who somehow manages to put up with me.
We’re buying, what will you have? A pint and a packet of salt 'n vinegar please.
I'm ill, please get me… A bucket, quick!!
Worst job I ever had: A call centre job for an energy company. I think I lasted a week.
From my wardrobe you can have… Anything pre-August last year that doesn't fit me anymore after I spent 2 weeks in Florida (It’ll do that to ya).
If you’re getting a takeaway I’ll have… Thai
Facebook is… Far too addictive.
I'd make a rubbish Apprentice for Sir Alan because… I'm rubbish at getting up and ready in less than an hour.
I would win Big Brother because… I don't think I could. I'm sure I'd rather walk than spend a whole summer banged up with a bunch of complete loonies. You can keep the money!
The first thing I do when I get out of the Capital studio is… Go and grab some coffee somewhere near Leicester Square.
