GLOBAL’S MAKE SOME NOISE TEXT TO WIN & DONATE TERMS & CONDITIONS

1.     The following rules (“Rules”) together with Global Charities ("Global Charities") general and competition terms and conditions (the “Terms and Conditions”) (which can be found at www.makesomenoise.com/terms-conditions/ ) apply to the ‘Global’s Make Some Noise Text Competitions’ ("the Competition") which will run from 7am 11th October 2016 – 7am 14th October 2016 (“the Duration”).

2.     The "Radio Station" advertising the competition is Capital North West and North Wales, Capital Cymru.

3.     Anyone who enters the Competition (an “Entrant”) will be deemed to have understood these Rules along with the Terms and Conditions and will be bound by them.  The Terms and Conditions are available on request from Global Charities.

Details of the Competition:

4.     To enter the Competition an Entrant must send a text message with the word WELSH to 83958 (the “Text Message Line”). Text messages will be charged at standard network rate. If you text after the closing time you will not be entered but may still be charged. The Text Message Line will open at 7am 11th October 2016 (the “Opening Time”) and close at 7am 14th October 2016 (the “Closing Time”).

5.     After entering the Competition, participants will receive a bounceback text message informing them that a voluntary donation to Global’s Make Some Noise (registered charity 1091657 (England & Wales) & SC041475 (Scotland)) of £3 will be taken automatically an hour (60 minutes) after the time the first text was received, unless they reply with the word STOP.  The £3 donation will be taken from the mobile phone used to enter the Competition and 100% of the donation will go to Global’s Make Some Noise.

6.     For the avoidance of doubt, you do not need to donate in order to be eligible for entry to the competition.  Anyone who replies STOP to the first bounceback message and thereby opts out of donating £3 to Global’s Make Some Noise will still be included in the prize draw.

7.     After the competition closes at 7am, a random draw will take place of all eligible entries received between the Opening Time and the Closing Time to determine the winner.  All winners will be required to talk to the presenter/s and a call will be recorded with the presenter/s and played on-air.  If the entrant fails to answer their phone, are driving, or if any fault occurs immediately prior to or during these calls and it is not possible to re-establish contact with the caller, another contestant will be selected at random.  The producer’s decision is final.

8.   You must be over 18 to enter the Competition.

9.  You can enter up to 10 times, however you must text STOP after each entry to opt out of donating £3 to Global’s Make Some Noise.

  • Afternoon Tea for 4 at Chateau Rhianfa – Anglesey
  • Spa day for two including lunch and treatment at the Quay hotel - Deganwy

  • 2 adult tickets to Wales vs Japan 19th November 2016 at the Principality Stadium plus overnight hotel stay and transport train Bangor to Cardiff
  • Latest Wales Rugby Shirt for an adult and child 
  • Two tickets to Bastille live at the Motorpoint Arena Cardiff followed by a night at a top Cardiff hotel and transport 31st October 2016, train Bangor to Cardiff

12.  No substitute prizes or cash alternatives are available.

13.  The prize is non transferable.

This prize is for 4 people at Chateau Rhianfa hotel, Glyngarath, Beaumaris, Anglesey LL59 5NS. Booking in advance is required. Prize must be used within 1 year of winning. Champagne or accommodation and extra activities at the hotel are not included. Please advise of any allergies and dietary requirements at time of booking.

2 Adult tickets for Wales Vs Japan at the Principality Stadium, Cardiff – 19th November 2016. Hotel stay and train tickets provided.

This prize is for 2 adults (over 18’s only) to watch Wales at home vs Japan. Standard tickets worth £45 each. Tickets will be sent out in the post by Capital Cymru for free. Wheelchair access may be limited or unavailable. We cannot always inform you of the location of concert seats in advance.

HOTEL STAY

Overnight night stay for 2 at The Future Inn, Cardiff, Hemingway Road, Cardiff.

In a standard Room with breakfast. Arriving 18th November 2016, departing 19th November 2016. All other meals & incidentals to be paid for by the prize winner.

At least one guest in each room must be over the age of 18. Refreshments not included.

TRAVEL – from Arriva trains Wales.

Second class return travel from Bangor to Cardiff for 2 adults. Setting off Friday November 18th, returning the following evening Saturday November 19th. Train times to suit arriving and departing with ample time given to reach the hotel. No cash alternative given for train travel if it’s not taken. Must be used over the weekend of the 18th/19th November 2016. Tickets will be posted out from Arriva trains around 7-10 days before travel. 

Drivetime VIP Supercar Experience for 1 adult and 1 child.

 Experience what it’s like to drive a supercar (details of what car will be given upon booking). Package includes full photo package (9X6 Print on CD) 4x4 Taster session (for anyone over the age of 18, children experience it only). Refreshments via water, tea or coffee will be given for both guests. 50% off will be given if anyone wishes to book a future driving experience.

The experience can be taken for adults in Stafford or Anglesey lasting 6 laps in Stafford, 3 in Anglesey. For children it’s only valid in Stafford lasting 6 laps. 

Prize must be used within 12 months of winning. Time restrictions may apply. Check upon booking. This prize can be used on both weekdays & weekends.

This activity is strenuous and therefore prize is not suitable for anyone who is pregnant, who suffers from a bad back/neck, heart issue or similar health issue that restrict movement or causes distress, of which movement may affect or aggravate any condition.

This prize is for 2 adults (over 18’s only) to watch Bastille live on the 31st October. Standard tickets only. Tickets will have to be collected at the box office from 6.30pm on the 31st October. ID will have to be given to receive the prize. Wheelchair access may be limited or unavailable. We cannot always inform you of the location of concert seats in advance. No cash alternative for the prize, and it can’t be exchanged for another gig.

HOTEL STAY

Overnight night stay for 2 at The Park Plaza Cardiff with full Welsh Breakfast.

In a standard Room (twin or double) with Welsh breakfast. Complimentary use of the leisure facilities is included, but does not include spa treatments. Arriving 31st October, departing 1st November. All other meals & incidentals to be paid for by the prize winner.

At least one guest in each room must be over the age of 18. Refreshments not included.

Wheelchair access may be limited or unavailable.

This prize is non-transferable, valid for only Oct 31st 2016 for the Park Plaza in Cardiff only. No extension for the date in question can be given. Pre-booking is essential; prize will come via a voucher posted out from Capital Cymru. Voucher must be brought to the hotel to receive the overnight stay.
