Three Men Badly Hurt In Stockton Crash

Three men are in hospital this morning with serious injuries after their car hit a road sign and then caught fire in Stockton.

It happened at 4 o clock this morning at the roundabout junction of Concord Way and 1825 Way in Stockton when their Blue Vauxhall Vectra mounted the kerb, collided with road sign and caught fire.

All 3 men managed to get out of the car and are being treated in James Cook Univeristy Hospital in Middlesbrough.

The driver, who's 27 and from Yarm, suffered internal injuries.

One of the passengers, a man from Thornaby, suffered a serious head injury while a second passenger, a 30 year old man also from Thornaby, is beiong treated for a leg injury.
