A 17-year-old driver has been killed in a crash after his car left the road in County Durham.
The smash happened at Barford Corner on the A688 in County Durham at 10.17pm on Friday night.
The young man had been travelling toward Staindrop in a Subaru Forrester when it careered off the road and he sustained fatal injuries.
A spokesperson for Durham Police said:
"Officers are appealing for anyone who may have seen the vehicle prior to the collision, or witnessed the collision, to contact PC Benson or PC Ross CDSOU, by contacting 101 and quoting incident 540 of May 29th."
