Man Assaulted In Newcastle Club

Police are appealing for witnesses after an assault inside a Newcastle club.

It happened at 1.30am on Sunday, October 9 when the 23-year-old man was at Digital at Times Square in the city centre, when he was punched in the face by another man.

It happened upstairs close to a set of stairs. The victim required hospital treatment for a fractured eye socket and has since been discharged.

The offender is white, aged in his mid 20s, about 6ft tall with short light coloured hair. He was wearing jeans and a very light coloured top.
