4 Year Old Knocked Down By Car In Middlesbrough

A 4 year old girl's got a broken leg after being hit by a car in Middlesbrough.

It happened on Marton Road at around 5.30pm yesterday (Wednesday 1st February.)

The collision involved a silver Vauxhall Astra.

The girl, from the Middlesbrough area, suffered a broken leg and was taken to James Cook University Hospital.

Anyone who may have witnessed the collision is asked to contact PC Karl Horowitz of Cleveland and Durham Specialist Operations Unit on 01642 326326, quoting event number V17777.
