We take a look at the best covers performed by fans and rising stars across the internet.

We scoured the web for the best performances posted by fans covering songs from their favourite artists' back catalogues.

We've found a host of impressive fan-made covers from YouTube's rising stars with the total view count standing at over 150 million!

Tracks from the likes of Rihanna, Jessie J, Katy Perry and Lady Gaga have been given a remake with some comments suggesting they prefer these versions to the originals!

Sam, Digger and Basti make up the German band The Baseballs whose cover of Rihanna's 2007 hit charted in seven countries across Europe.

Maddie Jane - 'Price Tag' (Jessie J cover)

13-year-old Maddi's videos have attracted huge interest, so much so that she appeared as a guest on the Ellen Degeneres show in 2011. She now has over 800,000 Facebook fans and covers such as Jessie J's smash hit 'Price Tag' continue to boost her popularity.

Maria Aragon - 'Born This Way' (Lady Gaga cover)
Lady Gaga was so impressed with 12-year-old Maria's cover that she invited her to perform alongside her at the Toronto leg of her worldwide tour. Maria went on to sign a recording contract with Star Records in 2011 and has since released a debut album, which included her acoustic version of 'Born This Way'.

The Lazy Song - Megan Nicole (Bruno Mars cover)

17 year-old Megan's videos have been viewed over 245 million times on YouTube and she received a personal endorsement from Bruno Mars himself for her cover of his track, 'The Lazy Song'.

Tiffany Alvord & Chester See - 'The One That Got Away' (Katy Perry cover)
19 year-old Tiffany posted her first video on YouTube 2008 and now has over 115 videos and 800,000 subscribers to her channel. She teamed up with fellow YouTube sensation Chester See for a rendition of Katy Perry's 'The One That Got Away' which has over 12.5 million views.

Noah - 'Sexy and I Know It' (LMFAO cover)
Noah describes himself in his Twitter bio as an "18 year old singer/songwriter of Pop-Americana-Acoustic music with an organic feel" (sic). One comment on his video reads: "That awkward moment when a cover is 100000000000000000000 times better than the original".

Connie Talbot - 'Rolling in the Deep' (Adele cover)

Connie first achieved fame at the age of six in 2007's Britain's Got Talent series. Now 11, she's a massive Adele fan and her videos have been viewed over 80 million times on YouTube.

Elyar Fox - 'Boyfriend' (Justin Bieber cover)

17 year-old Londoner Elyar is a big Justin Bieber fan and he's rapidly making a name for himself. His 'Boyfriend' rendition has had over 2.4 million views...and counting.

Victoria Justice & Max Schneider - Maroon 5 medley

YouTube sensations Victoria and Max collaborate for this infectious medley of some of Maroon 5's biggest hits, including 'Moves Like Jagger', 'She Will Be Loved' and 'This Love'. The video was uploaded on 23rd July 2012 and exactly one week later had achieved 1.2 million views.

Alexa describes herself as "A singing, dancing Tom-Boy Barbie that loves pink. Trying to make the world smile with my music".
