MTV VMAs 2013: Nominations List

Justin Timberlake, Robin Thicke and Taylor Swift will all battle out for Video Of The Year this August.

The nominations for this year's MTV Video Music Awards 2013 have been announced, which sees Justin Timberlake and Macklemore picking up six nods each.

Both stars will be aiming to win the coveted Video Of The Year prize with 'Mirrors' and 'Thrift Shop' both nominated against Taylor Swift's 'I Knew You Were Trouble', Robin Thicke's 'Blurred Lines' and Bruno Mars' 'Locked Out Of Heaven'.

Elsewhere, British star will go up for Best Male Video with 'Lego House' and there's also nods for fellow Brits Alt-J and Mumford & Sons.

The Best Female Video will see Rihanna, Miley Cyrus, Taylor Swift, Pink and Demi Lovato all going head to head. 

The 30th annual awards show will  take place live on 25th August from the Barclays Center in Brooklyn.
