Miley Cyrus American Music Awards 2013

Miley Cyrus, Lady Gaga, Rihanna, and Justin Timberlake were all seen on-stage at last night's big event.

Miley Cyrus was once again one of the most talked about performers at last night's American Music Awards 2013 by delivering a rendition of her hit 'Wrecking Ball' complete with a giant virtual cat on screen behind her.

It was less about controversy for the singer as her antics were kept low-key with just the memorable feline joining her during a unique performances.
The show was opened by Katy Perry who donned full Geisha attire for her performance of latest single 'Unconditionally'.

Justin Timberlake, who was among the big winners of the night, also gave a live outing to one of his latest songs 'Drink You Away'.

As well as collecting the first ever Icon prize (presented to her by her mother), Rihanna gave a triumphant performance of her smash hit 'Diamonds'.

Lady Gaga and R. Kelly headed to the Oval Office for a steamy rendition of 'Do What U Want' at the AMAs – attempting to match the spectacle of their recent SNL duet of the track.

Macklemore & Ryan Lewis won two awards at the event and gave a memorable and visually stunning performance of 'Can't Hold Us' .

They were seen performing the track on The X Factor earlier in the evening, but One Direction were also on stage at the AMAs 2013 to deliver their new ballad 'Story Of My Life'.
