Who's the biggest star you've met? Justin Timberlake.  Although I haven't been properly introduced to him.  He was standing by our printer near Capital's studio at 2 minutes to the hour.  It wasn't working and I really needed it to print the bulletin I was about to read so I rushed up to him and asked him to try and fix it.  The only problem was I didn't realise it was JT until a colleague pointed it out about 10 minutes later! (Just for the record he didn't manage to fix it)!

How would your friends describe you? Hungover

What's the best story you've covered? It wasn't a good news story so 'best' isn't really the right word.  But I'm very proud of the work we did on the attempted car bombing at Haymarket.  We were first at the scene, had reporters across London, I did bulletins live from the police cordon and we were two hours ahead of our rivals reporting the bomb which was found in a second car.

Which news story would you love to have covered? 9/11.

What's the best thing about working for Capital 95.8? The people and the canteen, especially crumble on a Thursday.

Your most embarrassing on-air moment? Whilst reading a bulletin at one of Capital's sister stations I somehow managed to misread U2 frontman Bono's name as Bonio (as in the dog biscuits).  Let's just say I didn't manage to finish the bulletin without laughing - and had the mick taken out of me for months!

Favourite "and finally"? Too many to mention. I end up cracking up at the end of most of them.

What advice would you give to wannabe journalists? Get loads of work experience and actually listen to the station you want to work for. You'd be surprised at the people who apply for jobs and work experience in radio who have no idea about the way we do news!
