What's the best story you've covered? 'Best' probably isn't the right word but the July 7th London bombings was easily the biggest and most challenging. Capital won a top award for its coverage and we got loads of good feedback from listeners so I'm glad what we did that day was appreciated.

What's the best thing about working for Capital 95.8? The amazing people who work here. Oh and the canteen, especially on Thursdays (curry day).

Your most embarrassing on-air moment? I once played out a pre-recorded traffic bulletin from the Flying Eye, but forgot to edit out a section where the presenter screwed up and used the "F" word. I was convinced I'd be fired on the spot but only 1 listener phoned up, to say it was the funniest thing she'd ever heard!

Favourite "and finally"? Visitors to a stately home are being warned to keep away from a randy peacock. The amorous bird swooped on one visitor's blue car, after mistaking it for a mate.

What advice would you give to wannabe journalists? Stop at nothing to get to the truth, and stay single - getting up at 4am isn't conducive to successful relationships!
