Gary Go to play gig using his iPhone

Newcomer, Gary Go is set to surprise audiences during his upcoming support slots with Take That by playing his iPhone instead of guitars and drums.

According to the Evening Standard, the 'Wonderful' singer, who is due to release his debut album later this year, has already written several tracks using software downloaded to the phone. He used it to recreate guitars, drums, piano and horn sections.

"I think it's pretty amazing that I'm going to be using a mobile phone on stage at Wembley Stadium in front of so many people. I grew up behind the stadium, and used to listen to concerts in my back garden, " said Go, whose single 'Open Arms' is released on May 11th.

"My biggest worry is that my phone will ring mid-song."

If you fancy getting a sneak preview of Gary's iPhone-playing antics, he's playing a free gig at Apple's Regent Street store tonight (28th April).
