The Wrestler

Recent Golden Globe winner Mickey Rourke stars as The Wrestler, a retired star who begins to evaluate his life when his health declines.

Whilst trying to repair the relationship with his daughter, he prepares for the ultimate comeback and one final fight with his old rival.

The good bits:  This award winning movie is gritty, brutal and unmissable. Mickey Rourke is an outstanding leading man and will no doubt go on to win the Oscar.
The bad bits:  If you hadn't already guessed, this film is not for the faint hearted. If you're not a fan of blood, guts and long haired sweaty men beating the living daylights out of each other, I'd suggest you give it a miss.
